ISOL Courses for Interpreters
Centro Linguistic Agorà designs special courses for foreign students who use Italian for professional purposes. These courses have been designed for conference interpreters who already work with the Italian language or who are about to obtain qualifications to do so. These courses are intensive and consists of a minimum of 6 hours of lessons a day for one week. Study groups comprise a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 6 students. Courses are held during January and August, but a course can be organized at any time of year on request.
Lessons are organized on the basis of the participants specific requirements as well as dealing with in-depth study of general aspects of advanced level Italian. Classes are taught by Italian language teachers and professional experts from a variety of fields of work.
Themes which have been of interest to this type of student to date range from politics and economy to history, geography, art, culture and legislation to more specific topics such as cross-border trade, pensions and civil union contracts. Centro Linguistico Agorà invites interpreters to suggest subjects that are of interest to them and in its turn, proposes specific arguments for in-depth study.

A 30 hour (1 week) course costs 792.00 euros, VAT included.
Whenever a group is formed from a number of participants that is less than the minimum for the course type, the number of lesson hours will be reduced.
